Bee Kind Bakery's founder and head baker, Brandy Black Hoerber, brings a lifetime of culinary passion to her hometown of Dunsmuir, where her love for cooking first blossomed as a child.
After honing her skills at several renowned urban bakeries and catering companies, Brandy established Bee Kind Catering in Seattle over a decade ago, building a reputation for fresh, healthy fare. Her husband and co-founder Aaron Hoerber, a professional artist and Shasta County native, shares her vision of helping foster a healthy and creative local community. Together, they made the heartfelt decision to return home to the area they love, settling in Mount Shasta with their two children and opening Bee Kind Bakery and Catering as a way to weave together their shared passions for exceptional food, artistic expression, and genuine community connection. Their dream is simple yet profound: to create a space where good food and creativity could make a real difference in the lives of their neighbors.
